Understanding Bill Items and exporting data

The Bill Items submodule provides a detailed breakdown of all bills charged to customers. Each bill is expanded into individual line items, allowing you to view information such as bill status, unit price, net and gross amounts, and payment due dates.

Exporting data is the only action available in this submodule.

Like Bills, Bill Item exports are  generated in CSV (Comma Separated Values) format.

Export Bill Items

1. Navigate to the Bill Items module from the left  navigation panel
2. Click Download in the top-right corner of the page
3. From the dropdown, select Export Bill Items.

The system generates an export containing all columns currently visible on the screen.

To customize the export, use the Columns option to show or hide fields before generating the export.

Export generation typically takes 5 -10 minutes. Once ready, a green notification appears in the bottom-right corner of the screen.

View Export History

1. Navigate to the Bill Items module from the left  navigation panel
2. Click Download in the top-right corner of the page
3. From the dropdown, select View Export History.

This opens the export history, where you can locate and download previously generated files.

If you miss the export notification, you can always access the file from here.
