Creating an Ops Booking Request

This article gives a general overview of creating a booking in Ops. The Ops booking flow is customizable and some details may vary from your own booking flow.

The steps to create a new booking request in the back office are as follows:

  1. Log in to the back office and choose the Bookings Module from the left panel. Click + Add Bookings on the top bar.
  2. Select the Start Date and time from the small calendar pop-up on the New Booking page and click Apply.
  3. Click the Search Assets button.
  4. Click Select button against an asset from the list of  virtual assets.
  5. Click Next Step to proceed.
  6. Set Mileage Allowance and Duration from the dropdowns. If applicable, add promocode, then choose extra options. Check the Billing summary on the right to see consolidated billing basket and click Next Step.
  7. Search for an existing customer in the search bar and c or + Add New Account to add a new customer details in the booking flow.
  8. If the existing customer account is not approved, click on Approve. Existing customers that are approved will have a Select button next to it.
  9. Click the Select button against the  customer account and Click Next Step.
  10. If the customer account has multiple drivers, Click Select against the driver for whom the booking will be created, then click Next Step to proceed. If the driver is unverified, Click Verify to manually verify it before selecting it.
  11. Pick the handover mode according to customer preference/the option you offer and click Next Step.
  12. Click Create Booking on the Create Booking Request Modal.
  13. The  a green confirmation message appears with the booking reference.
  14. Click the View All Bookings button to locate the new booking.
