Applying a voucher during booking approval
This feature allows Ops users to apply a voucher at the time of approving a customer’s booking. It helps eliminate the need to edit the booking later to add a discount.
The steps are as follows:
- Navigate to the Bookings Module and choose the booking to be approved in the Requested Tab.
- Click Action button next to the booking and select Approve from the dropdown.
- In the Approval Modal, Click Select a promocode dropdown and pick from the list of active promo codes.
- Click +Add after selecting the promocode from the dropdown.
- Click on Apply Changes button before proceeding with choosing an asset for the booking. A green toast notification will appear confirming if the promocode has been added to the booking.
- If adding multiple vouchers, repeat steps 3-6.
Multiple voucher codes can be added at this stage, provided they belong to different
voucher categories and those categories are configured to allow interaction with one another.
- Select the physical asset to be assigned to the booking.
- Click Approve
A green toast notification at the bottom of the screen confirms the approval of the booking.
Viewing the booking with promocode
To view the vouchers applied to the booking:
- go to the Approved tab and click on the booking ID to view the booking details.
- Scroll down and click on the basket symbol to view the billing basket.
- The applied voucher line item is seen and is green in colour.
