Adding additional drivers on Ops

Customers can add additional drivers to their account directly. However, if they are unable to do so, you can add the driver on their behalf in JRNY Ops.

When a new driver is added:

  • A document verification link is automatically sent to the driver’s registered email address.
  • The driver must upload and verify their driving licence through this link.
  • A Secondary driver tag will appear next to their name in the Drivers section of the customer account.
  • Once verification is completed successfully, a green Verified badge will appear next to the driver’s details.
  • Verified documents can be viewed under the Documents tab.

You can add multiple additional drivers to an account, depending on your business terms and conditions.

Steps to add a driver:

  1. Navigate to the Accounts submodule from the left panel.
  2. Locate the relevant customer account.
  3. Click the Action button and select View Details from the dropdown menu.
  4. Scroll down and open the Drivers tab.
  5. Click the + Add Driver button on the right side of the screen.
  6. On the Add Driver page, fill in all required details.
  7. Click Save to register the new driver.

A green notification will appear at the bottom of the screen confirming that the driver has been added successfully.

The newly added driver will now be visible in:

  • The Drivers tab within the customer account, and
  • The Drivers submodule.
