Assigning Tags and Notes to a Lead

Creating and Assigning Tags to a Lead

You can create custom tags and assign them to leads in JRNY Ops to categorise, track, and manage leads more effectively. Tags help highlight important attributes or internal classifications.

Adding a Tag to a lead

In addition to system-generated tags like Registered Interest, Drop Out, Manually Converted, and Auto Converted, you can create and assign custom tags to leads.

  1. Navigate to the Leads sub-module.
  2. Open the New Tab (or any active status tab).
  3. Locate the lead and click the Action button.
  4. Select Add Tag from the dropdown menu.
  5. In the Add Tag Modal, click Create New Tag.
  6. Enter the tag name in the Tag Label field.
  7. Click Save to register the changes.

A green notification appears in the bottom-right corner confirming the action. The newly created tag will now be visible against the lead record.

Adding and Viewing Notes on a Lead

Notes allow Ops users to record important details, follow-up context, or internal comments related to a lead.

Steps to add a Note

  1. Navigate to the Leads sub-module.
  2. Select a lead from any tab.
  3. Click the Action button against the Lead.
  4. Select Add Note from the dropdown menu.
  5. Enter the relevant details in the Add New Note modal.
  6. Click Save Note to register changes

A green notification appears in the bottom-right corner confirming the action.

Viewing Notes

To view added notes:

  1. Click on the lead to open the Lead Details page.
  2. Navigate to the Notes tab.

All saved notes will be displayed here, along with details such as:

  • The user who created the note
  • The date and time the note was added
