Edit Driver Document Details

The Edit Driver Document details feature allows Ops users to update a driver's document details after documents have been manually uploaded to the system.

By editing the document attributes, Ops users can ensure that driver records remain accurate and up to date while maintaining continuity in the booking process. This feature also reduces the need to upload duplicate documents when only the document metadata requires updating.

Steps to Edit Driver Document Attributes

  1. Navigate to the Accounts module and search for the customer using the search box.
  2. Click on the customer's name to open the account details.
  3. Select the Drivers tab to view the list of drivers associated with the account.
  4. Locate the driver whose document details need to be updated and click the Actions button (three-dot menu) against the driver.
  5. Select Manage Identity Documents from the dropdown menu.
  6. Locate the relevant document (e.g., Driving Licence or Identity Card) and click the Edit (pencil) icon.
  7. Update the required document attributes, such as:
    • Document Number
    • Valid From date
    • Valid To (Expiry) date
  8. Once the changes have been made, click the Save (tick) icon to apply the updates.

A green toast notification will appear in the bottom-right corner of the screen, confirming that the document details have been updated successfully.

If the Document Number was edited, the updated value is immediately reflected on the Drivers tab.
