Swapping a Vehicle
The Ops user can swap an asset for the customer in the system in a few steps in the event of any emergencies, such as a car breakdown or when the customer isn't in a position to sign contracts but wants a car immediately. Swapping an asset feature involves:
- No contracts sent to the customer.
- An alternate asset is picked with the same terms, price mileage and duration as the previous asset.
This article will show you how to swap an asset.
- Go to the 'Booking' Module and choose a booking in the Progress tab to swap a vehicle. Click the ' Take Action' button to open a dropdown menu, then click 'Swap Asset.'
- In the Swap Asset Modal, search for an asset to swap in the search field.
- Click the 'Select' button against the asset and click the 'Swap Asset' button.
- A green confirmation message appears on top of the Swap Asset Modal. Click the 'Close' button to exit the Modal.
The booking has a new asset register number of the swapped asset.
