Creating an Ops Booking Request

The steps to create a new booking request in the back office are as follows:

  1. Log in to the back office and choose the "Bookings" Module from the left panel. Click '+ Add New' on the top bar.

  1. Enter the Start Date from the small calendar pop-up on the New Booking page and click the 'Search' button.


  1. Click the 'Book' button against an asset from the list of assets.

  1. When the 'Select Package' page opens, set the pricing package, kilometre allowance and duration.

  1. From the list of optional extras, select those relevant to the customer. The Billing Summary is altered depending on the optional extras chosen. Click the continue button to proceed.

Setting Optional Extras in the back office will be discussed in further articles.

  1. The Select Account section opens. Click the' Select' button to select from the existing customer list. We will take Ms. Tina Jeremy as an example.

  1. In this section, we observe Tina's account details and notice a black exclamation icon next to her name, indicating that she has not completed the verification of her driver's license through Veriff.

  1. Go to this Customer Account by going to the customer module and send the customer a veriff link to verify their driving license.

  1. If the customer has successfully verified their Driving license, there will be a check box where we can select the customer.

  1. Click the check box against the customer to activate the Continue button and proceed to the next section.

  1. Pick the mode of handover according to customer preference.

  1. If opted for the 'Delivery Required' option, fill in the address to deliver the vehicle

  1. In this case, we will select Pick up for Handover and Drop off for Return. Click 'Continue' to progress.


  1. The Confirmation page shows the booking reference and the asset register number against which the booking has been made.

  1. Click the 'View Bookings' button to locate the new booking.
