Converting a Lead to a Customer

If a customer is unable to complete the booking journey in the showroom, the Ops user can convert the lead to a customer in JRNY Ops. There are two types of converted leads: Manually Converted Leads and Auto Converted Leads.

Manually Converted Leads require intervention from the Ops user, and this article will focus on that process.

Auto Converted Leads, on the other hand, refer to leads that drop off but later return to the website and successfully complete the booking process. These leads are automatically added as customers in the Customer Module.

  1. Log in to the back office, go to the Leads Module.
Test data is used in all screenshots
  1. Click on the All tab, choose a lead, and click the Take Action button.

  1. Click Create Customer from the dropdown.

  1. A confirmation Modal opens; click OK to confirm the conversion.

  1. A toast notification at the bottom of the screen confirms the same. A tag "Manually Converted" is added to the lead contact.

  1. Go to the Customer Module, and we can see the lead converted customer with the 'Converted' tag.
